Born and raised in the Mammoth Lakes, Reno resident since 2014. Founded Harvest NV in January 2019.
Multipotentialist with experience in many fields and industries including accounting, business management, restaurant and hospitality, customer service, permaculture gardening, and music.
Interests in environmentalism, sustainability, fruit tree gleaning, food donation, permaculture, helping others, learning, and working with a purpose.
Earned a professional development certificate for the 2019 Excellence in Nonprofit Management Institute from Extended Studies at the University of Nevada Reno.
Michelle brings 25 years of administrative experience to the board. She worked extensively in grant development, compliance, volunteer recruitment and coordination, training, and outreach.
Michelle is a firm believer in the power of volunteerism and community involvement as demonstrated by her work with organizations such as the Northern Nevada Center for independent Living, the Nevada Humane Society, and as a two-time Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand and Albania.
She spends her free time connecting with nature, fur buddies, human buddies, and fresh, delicious food!
Treasurer of the Board
Skye was born and raised in Spanish Springs, Nevada.
Her avid outdoorsy, adventurousness nature, and her giving spirit make her a vital contributor to our board.
She is a UNR graduate with a degree in French and Psychology. Her previous experience includes working with kids and adults with special needs for many years, and she recently spent some time in Ireland working at Moy Hill Farm, a market garden farm practicing regenerative and sustainable gardening that produces veggies for the entire town!
You might see her on a run in the many hills of Reno accompanied by her dog Luna.
Born in New York, Natalie has lived her most recent fourteen years in Northern Nevada,
She is passionate about treating all beings with respect and providing a safe place in which the community may connect and gather.
With a Bachelors of Science in Human Development and Family Studies, she stands behind all beliefs and community groups who affirm accessible resources should be utilized and shared as much as possible within our world.
She loves hiking, spending time with animals and humans, and any activity which makes our world a better place to inhabit.
